"EDDIE"; 2016-2017Back for another year, the 2016-2017 Formula SAE team at UH named their next car after Eddie Allison, who helped give them their start at TxCEF.
Despite not finishing the Endurance Event due to an electrical failure, the newly dubbed "Cougar Racing" team passed the Technical Inspection before any other team and improved their previous scores on every other event. With big shoes to fill, the Cougar Racing team is back again to compete in Lincoln this year. |
"GLADYS"; 2015-2016With the goal of becoming competitive within Formula SAE, team Coogs was formed at the turn of 2015 as a first year team.
The new design completed both static and dynamic events in the 2016 Formula SAE Lincoln Nebraska competition. What had started as a group of 6 members led to a design that competed in autocross and endurance events as well as scored 26th out of 102 competing universities. |
